MULTI-DAY EVENTS
Outdoor Skating at Stuart Park
Dates: Sunday, January 26th – Saturday, February 1st
Time: 6:00am – 11:00pm (except on Monday, when the rink is closed from 6am-8am for maintenance)
Location: Stuart Park, 1439 Water Street, Kelowna
The outdoor skating rink at Stuart Park is open for free, casual, drop-in use daily. No pre-bookings are required.
Skate rentals will be available on-site, but make sure to bring your own protective gear for outdoor skating (such as helmets). Also make sure to check ice conditions, maintenance schedules and crowd levels using the live cam here before heading down to the rink. Equipment rentals are cash only and weather permitting.
Skate Rental Hours: 11:00am – 8:00pm, daily (weather permitting)
Skate Rentals Cost:
- Adults: $7.00
- Children, 2 and under: $6.00
- EZ bars: $2.00
- Helmets: $2.00

Family Play Time at the Kelowna Family Y
Date: Monday, January 27th – Friday, January 31st

Coffee Filter Craft at The Hub

Children will colour round coffee filters in green and blue, mist them with water, and glue them onto a sheet of paper to create planet earth!

Niteo Family Literacy Program at Rutland Library

NITEO’s Family Reading Program is a reading program for parents and children to attend together! Each week we will gather for opening games, reading, literacy activities, homework help, practicing English conversation, friendship, and FUN! The entire family is welcome to attend but please note the program is tailored to children in Kindergarten – Grade 6. Registration Priority will be given to families who have moved to Canada/parents 1st language is not English (children can be born in Canada).

Born to ‘Bee’ Wild

Recycling Bin Basketball + Word Search & Colouring at The Hub

Children will play basketball with recyclable items such as cans or plastic bottles and try to toss them into recycling bins to practice recycling and their basketball skills!
