MULTI-DAY EVENTS
Outdoor Skating
Dates: Sunday, January 22nd-29th
Time: 6:00am – 11:00pm
Location: Stuart Park, 1439 Water Street
The outdoor skating rink at Stuart Park is open for casual, drop-in use daily, except on Mondays, when it is closed from 6-8am for maintenance. No pre-bookings are required, this season.
Skate rentals will be available on-site, but make sure to bring your own protective gear for outdoor skating (such as helmets) and hand sanitizer and face coverings for added COVID-safety.
Skate Rental Hours:
11:00am – 8:00pm, daily (weather permitting)
Skate Rentals Cost:
- Adults: $6.00
- Children, 2 and under: $5.00
- EZ bars: $2.00
- Helmets: $2.00
PLEASE NOTE: equipment rentals are cash only and weather permitting. Make sure to check ice conditions, maintenance schedules and crowd levels using the live cam on the City of Kelowna website before heading down to the rink.
TNT Food Truck will be on-site during peak hours offering food for purchase.

Family Play Time

Location: Kelowna Family YMCA, 375 Hartman Road
Join us with your child (aged 0-6 years) at Kelowna Family Y for our free, registered play program. Explore, create, imagine, and play in a variety of activities for you and your child. Meet other families through group activities in a comfortable play environment and learn about services in your community. Register to come play in our Family Play Time program, complete our scavenger hunt, and enter to win a prize!

This hands-on activity provided by Let’s Talk Science Outreach at UBC Okanagan, along with Regional District of Central Okanagan Interpreters, will allow youth to have the opportunity to explore different ways that animals insulate themselves to stay warm in winter by testing different insulating materials in snow/ice cold water.
Nakulamen: How Turtle Set the Animals Free
